FINALLY!!!!!!! Exactly 2 weeks after I took and passed the VTNE my state sent me notification that they had received my scores, and that I was eligible for my State Boards. Taken this AM and PASSED!
They called to tell me that I had indeed passed the state portion, and that my credentials were going out today!

The State Board is strictly on my state's jurisprudence and not technical knowledge or skills, but it is the final step in becoming a legitimately credentialed Technician.
I could not have made it to this point in my journey without all the incredibly WONDERFUL people at PF! Dr. Jim, Dr. Amanda, Dr. H, Marg Brown, Laurie, Kate, Erin, Eric - even Frank! (LOL) and everyone else - you all have my undying gratitude for helping me make my dream a reality!
