I'm finishing up Pharmaceutical Dispensing 4: topical dose forms and I'm stuck on a question. Under Practical Excercises question # 2 ask:
The following prescription is received by your pharmacy. Atropine Sulfate 0.5 % w/w Hydrophilic Petrolatum to make 30 Gm
How much atropine sulfate is required to prepare this
ointment? Is it weighable?
Answer Atropine sulfate, 0.15 g
It’s weighable if the balance sensitivity is 7.5 mg or less.
I was able to figure out how to get 0.15 but im not sure how to figure out if its weighable and where the 7.5 mg came from.
