Registering your Mobile Device after Linking your Student Portal & Community Account
Once you have linked your two student accounts you may wish to use your mobile devices to access the community. The community works with both IOS & Android devices as well as newer Kindle Fire tablets.
To allow your mobile devices to access the community after setting up Single Sign on you will need to register your device. You can register as many devices as you want.
Here is how:
- Log into the community
- Click on the Arrow next to your username to view the drop down menu.
- Click on the Preferences tab.
4. Click on the Mobile Tab
5. Enter a name for your device and click on the Get Activation Code button

6. A pop up box will display giving you two options to register your device.
- Type in Activation Code: You can manually type in the mobile URL of the community into your device and active it using the code provided. https://pennfoster.jive-mobile.com
- Scan a QR Code: This is an easier way to activate your device. If your mobile device has a QR code scanner use it to be taken directly to the mobile site and activate your device.
- The code will be pre-populated into the registration box:
Click the Register Button.
