This week, the Mental Mash-up is inspired by none other than The Common Application! In case you don't know what that is, it's a universal college application that is used by hundreds of colleges and universities nationwide; so this is something that may very well help those of you who are planning to further your education after high school. I took this idea from one of their essay prompts....
To get to the fun part: What is a place or environment where you are perfectly content, in other words, what is your happy place? What do you do or experience there, and why is it meaningful to you? Share pictures if you have them!
My happy place is the beach!! There are so many beautiful beaches in the world and I try to go to at least one new beach each year! For me, a beach is my happy place because I think that beaches are nature's amazing masterpieces. Once my toes are in the sand, I can hear the waves crashing, and smell the salty air, it's instant serenity. Below are two beaches I visited this year, the first is Hawksnest Bay, in St. John Virgin Islands and the second is Siesta Key Beach in Florida.
