I am new to the Fit & Nut program and have NEVER done an online course. I lived in Hawaii for 10 yrs attending a Jr. college to get my cores out of the way and on the edge of completion until I moved back to the mainland in 2004 to caregive for my deaf and blind father who passed in 2012 at the ripe old age of 96 with no physical ailments, just old age and aspiration pnemonia. Amazing! He lost his hearing at Pearl Harbor in the machine shop where he worked due to no ear protection in those days. I think I inherited a lot of his stubborness, I love challenges. I broke my ankle a few mos ago 2 days after I bought an RV to travel with my two dogs. Now I'm here on the side of my house while the house is being rennovated. I love to swim a lot so I go to the local pool three times a week to get my endurance up and the juices flowing again through propelling. ( kicking using your legs only and hands on the kickboard) and the weight I've put on off and my strength back. Enrollment in the Fit & nut cert. prog. is what gave me the incentive to get out and get up or vice versa. I will be going back to the gym to workout on the recumbent bike and rowing mach. when I feel physically confident. I bought some electric blue Reebok basketball shoes for extra support. How I found out about this program is through my trainer..My father was a boxer back in the day, he had a a Jack La Lane mentality. My mother used to buy Roman Meal bread instead of Wonder which was humiliating to me as a kid. I don't know how far this ankle accident will set me back, but I sure love this program and all the support. BTW, I need a study partner. I took basic Biology im coll. but not Anatomy. Any tips on studying procedures? I wrote everything on Flash cards but I don't feel its enough. Thanx.....
