Hello Vet Tech students,
I am about to finish my 1st semester of the program this week. As part of my preparation for this career I am doing my best to prepare my back and legs for the "heavy lifting" to come , and have been trying to workout about 3 times a week. I have done a lot of walking on steep inclines (on treadmills), jogging (because I'm not a great runner) both inside and out, and a few of the machines at the gym that are designed to work out the legs and back muscles. I was wondering if anyone else (who maybe knows more about exercise) knew of any other back/leg specific exercises that would be helpful to do?! Thanks so much and I look forward to hearing from anyone who has any advice.
