Am I the only one who is disappointed?

Received my books for Coding 1 today and I have to say I am disappointed. While the CPT book and Step-by-Step guide are 2014 editions, my ICD-9 book is a 2013 edition (with codes valid thru 09/30/13). I am aware that while the codes may not change from year to year, a new edition is published on a yearly basis. I am also aware that using the 2013 edition will not effect my grades while pursuing my studies here at Penn Foster. The thing that gets me is that it is the middle of the year and they are still sending out 2013 books. Come on...really? It's not like I signed up prior to the 2014 manual being published, not to mention that it is the middle of the year. They push the need for study guides being delivered online to stay current but it is June and they sent me a coding resource that is not the most current version. The codes may have little to no changes but I had planned on taking my certification exam by the end of the year and if I plan on doing that I will not feel comfortable or prepared taking in a resource that is a year old. In order to feel more confident and prepared for my exam now I feel as if I need to purchase a more updated version which could possibly push taking the exam back even further depending on my finances. If I wait too long I will then have to purchase both books which is even more. One wrong question can make all the difference. Is it just me or is anyone else disappointed?
