Hello Students,
I have more than 27 years of experience working in the field of early care and education. I have worked as a teacher assistant, lead teacher, head teacher, director, and executive director in the childcare industry, and am the owner of Just For Kids Early Childhood Learning Center in Smithfield, Rhode Island. Emerging from my passion of working with my staff, I began teaching in higher education in April of 2006. Over the years, I have served as an adjunct as well as a full time professor and am the Department Chair of Early Childhood and General Education here at Penn Foster.
In addition to my work, I am very involved in the field of ECE. I serve as a Professional Development Specialist for the CDA Council and I also serve in two leadership roles for NAEYC. My first role is as a Bachelor Degree Peer Reviewer and the other is as a Conference Reviewer.
