How do the lesson plans work exactly?

Hi there!
I just started today in the Veterinary Assistant Career Diploma program and wanted to begin my lessons. I was just wondering if there is a certain organization for lessons between each exam? For example are there certain chapters you read before exam 1, etc. Just trying to get organized and familiar
