These are probably some ignorant questions but when working through the exercises and the "graded projects" in this book it says at times "the information needed to complete this exercise is found on Source Document 1 (or any number[s], just an example I was using). For instance: Project 1, Part B says that "using Source Document 2, complete the Name, Address tab and the Other Information tab.....". I figured Source Document meant exercise 2 in chapter 4. Am I correct in my assumption that Source Document is referring to the exercise in that chapter?
I'm almost finished with Graded Project 1, but my information is no longer matching up with certain exercises or tests. I know I missed up somewhere since each chapter builds off the previous one and the work you did in that chapter. I started completely over with the book trying to find my mistake and still can't figure it out.
Also, we are making up information sometimes right? At a certain point the book stops telling us exactly what to enter in exercises and just says to fill in. For example: Chapter 5 exercise 6 #3 reads: "Enter the allergy in the Allergies and Notes box". I made up an allergy since there was nothing listed to put there or should I have left it blank? Usually the book tells you to "leave it blank". Although, Chapter 5 Worksheet #2 asks you what was entered there. So I figured we needed to enter something or you could leave it blank and answer that question "Nothing". How are we needing to handle situations like this that state you to just enter some sort of information?
And finally, an actual question involving Graded Project 1 . If my assumption is correct that Source Document means that exercise in that particular chapter, Part C in project 1 says that the patient Lisa Wright is using Blue Cross/Blue Shield. In Part B of the project though (as I stated earlier) it says, "using Source Document 2, complete the Name, Address tab and the Other Information tab.....". I made the assumption that we were using the same information we entered in exercise 2 and that's what I did. Was I supposed to instead make up my own information just using that as a guide? If I enter the same information used in exercise 2 in chapter 4 then Lisa Wright is using the insurance OhioCare HMO. Is this a typo in the book for chapter 5 Part C or my mistake? If I keep going with the information I already have entered it messes up my results in later chapters and Graded Projects because I have two different insurance companies being used by this patient. If I am to use BC/BS, do I need to change all my information to this insurance company and do another print screen for my Graded Project, Part B?
Until I get these questions answered I'm at a complete standstill in my homework.
